Barry Potter Fairs - The Stafford Showground Toy Collectors Fair - 3rd December 2006

Tank Models takes to the road with a van full tanks and a bacon butty.

At 6am on a wet, dark, rainy Sunday morning, we loaded the van full of choice tank models and set off down the M6 to Stafford.

After a long and windy journey we turned off the M6 at Stafford and headed towards Stafford centre.  To reward ourselves for getting up early we decided to hunt down Mc Donalds for a breakfast.  After many trips around the centre and several wrong turns after  we headed into the pedestrian area and drove around the centre till we found our goal.

Two Egg Mc Muffins and 10 minutes later we arrived at Stafford Show Ground.  The rain had stopped and we where ready to roll...

It took about an hour to offload our stock and setup our tables.  We draped a British Army Challenger 2 combat netting over our stall and stacked out tank models high.  The exhibition spanned two halls with around 200 tables.

It was a great day and we sold a good selection of our tank models to some very happy customers. Thanks to all who came to see us.
